It's extremely important that your reptile's health never gets close to 0%.

Every action you do could make their health go up or down. Over time, you will get to know how to keep your reptile at a good level as they carry out the actions they need to develop properly.

As of right now, your reptile is under your responsibility. Make sure you take good care of your pet every day.
The strength of your reptile
You must make sure that you keep your reptile's strength as close as possible to 100% so that you can do lots of activities during each virtual day. It's the strength that lets you do the different activities in the game. Some actions will actually improve the strength each virtual day. Find them, see how they work and how they effect your reptile so you can make the most of the game. Also: be careful how much you give your reptile and avoid being excessive.
Your reptile's hygiene
When you do activities with your reptile, they have an impact on your reptile's hygiene. You must be careful to maintain the cleanliness bar as near as possible to 100% to avoid your reptile's health from decreasing. The closer the hygiene is to 100%, the more chance your reptile has of getting better results in its actions.

To maintain this bar at a good level, joining a fan club can prove beneficial.

Be sure to keep a careful eye on your reptile's hygiene and act quickly if it starts to decrease!
How to improve my reptile's specialities
You improve your reptile's specialities when you perform various actions. Most of the time, you must set a certain length during which you can improve one or more specialities of your reptile. There are other ways of improving his/her specialities, you can in particular participate in as many shows as possible, perform all the actions listed within your fan club. When a reptile has acquired all he/she could concerning specialties for a given action, the action bar becomes 100% full.

The maximum level to reach in a given speciality is determined by the capacity in this same speciality. It is impossible to exceed the capacity in a given speciality unless you decide to get a bonus or an item meant to exceed this capacity. The full speciality bars represent your reptile's level by taking into account the bonuses and items that allow you to go over the capacity. If you accumulate the right items and numerous bonuses, you will have more chances of winning more reptile shows and see your reptile's reach the highest ranking! Note that if reptile's level exceeds his/her capacity in a given speciality, this can only be related to the bonuses, items or so-called "exceptional" actions performed by your reptile.
Your reptile's happiness
The happiness or "happiness" is a key indication in Reptilzer, it determines your progress in the game. The game's goal is to improve your reptiles' species. In order to do this you must organize a breeding which will allow you to welcome in new reptiles. These reptiles will have a higher or lower capacity than their ascendants depending on the average happiness of their ascendants. The higher this average is, the more the reptiles' capacity improves!

The happiness varies according to the activities you do. Some actions can greatly increase it, for example all the reptile shows. Only experience in Reptilzer will permit you to understand how to maximize the happiness in a minimum of time! Be careful, some characteristics such as the age, the gender, the species, the health, the strength, the body Temperature or the hygiene can impact the happiness, you will find out while progressing in the game! This indication permits you to improve the new reptiles' capacity only when the mean of their ascendants' happiness exceeds 50%. To sum up, the calculation is very simple: if the average happiness of the two direct ascendants is superior to 50% then the new reptiles' capacity will be higher to the average capacities of the two direct ascendants! This will result in an improvementof the species. Your reptiles' capacity will develop in a way permitting to improve their level indefinitely. This improvement is even more important in the best specialities of your reptile. This indication will only reach its maximum when you took really good care of your reptile!!!

Finally, note that players are used to talk about happiness to replace the word happiness. Also the expression "improve the happiness" is often replaced by the verb "happinessize" one's reptile!
Your reptile's level
The level is the total obtained when all the specialties are added together. Its amount can never exceed the capacity if you don't use any bonuses or items.

That's why the only way to progress in the game is to increase the reptiles' capacity. In order to do this you will have to organize a breeding to get reptiles with better capacities!
The capacity of a reptile
The capacity of a reptile represents the maximum value that its level can reach without using bonuses or items.

It is calculated when it first appears in the game, and remains the same throughout its existence.

The greater a reptile's potential (i.e. its capacity), the higher its value.

It is up to the reptiles' breeders to look after them as best as possible in order to capitalize on this potential, using a variety of activities that will increase the reptiles' levels until they reach their capacity.
Your reptile's height
Your reptile's height varies according to his/her species and age.

You must be careful to maintain the right balance when you perform actions meant to increase his/her strength. In order to do this, respect the advice given in the game when you do actions which impact his/her height.
Health summary
It is located near your reptile's picture and lets you get valuable details and advice concerning your reptile's health and strength.

This summary is daily. Your reptile's characteristics can evolve during his/her virtual day, however the summary won't change. You will need to wait for the new virtual day to see an update of this summary that will then depend on the actions carried out the previous day.

Use it to keep an eye on your reptile and make good decisions for the virtual day.
Your reptile's lineage
In the beginning, you choose for yourself your reptile's species then you will have to organize a breeding to make new reptiles appear. Each time you will have to find the right partner among all the reptiles of the game to constantly improve the reptiles' capacity. It is by choosing your partners wisely and by making new reptiles appear that you will form superb lineages of reptiles!!!

The "descendants" appear thanks to two partners called the "ascendants". Together, the "ascendants" and "descendants" form a lineage that can be Purebred or non-Purebred. A lineage is called Purebred when all the "ascendants" are of the same species. If it is not the case, then it is a non-Purebred lineage.
Your reptile's body Temperature
When you do activities with your reptile, they have an impact on your reptile's body Temperature. You must be careful to maintain the mood bar as near as possible to 100% to avoid your reptile's health from decreasing. The closer the body Temperature is to 100%, the more chance your reptile has of getting better results in its actions.

To maintain this bar at a good level, joining a fan club can prove beneficial.

The prestige medals
The prestige medals are the best indicators for knowing instantly what a reptile is really worth. They are calculated by comparing, in a given speciality, your reptile's capacity with the capacity of the standard reptile (or default reptile) of the species. The prestige medals are only obtained when your reptile's capacity exceeds in a specific speciality a certain threshold, in comparison to the standard threshold (or species default threshold). When you want to organize a breeding, you should choose a reptile which has the most prestige medals for his/her species (beware: the ~~CARACTERISTIQUE[59][NOM]~~ will inevitably be of a higher amount).

These exceptional rewards guarantee your reptiles' excellence and are obtained one after another, after a long selection process of the best reptiles.
Your reptile's specialties
Your reptile has 6 specialties: speed, wandering, training, expression, sensitivity and swimming. The goal of the game is to increase these specialties as much as possible. Note that the maximum of these specialties is defined by your reptile's capacity.

In Reptilzer, the species have different capacities. For example, a reptile of species "X" will have a capacity in the "speed" speciality which will be much higher than for another reptile of species "Y".

If the capacity in the "speed" speciality is for instance 90, it means that the reptile can reach at most (without any bonuses or items) 90 of level in "speed". To improve one's reptile to 100% of his/her capacity, the reptile breeder will have to play a lot with his/her reptile and will have to participate in shows.

Then the bonuses and items allow your reptile to significantly increase his/her level to exceed his/her capacity.
